Gladys Faye Cox

Gladys Faye Cox (née Rhoton), 71, passed away unexpectedly on February 22, 2025, in Clintwood, Virginia.

Born on November 5, 1953, in Scott County, Virginia, Faye was the daughter of Curtis Ervin Rhoton and Reba Juanita Bledsoe Rhoton. She carried a steadfast faith throughout her life and found joy in life’s simple pleasures—her love for music, reading, drawing, and spending time outdoors.

Faye deeply loved her family and expressed that love through her care and concern for their well-being. She had a warm and lighthearted spirit, often sharing laughter with those around her through her joking manner.

She is lovingly remembered by her daughter Patricia Gall and her husband Jason; granddaughters Paige and Linzy; sisters Genie Griffin and Pauline Rhoton; and brothers Rocky Rhoton and CE Rhoton.

Though she is no longer with us, Faye will forever be cherished in the hearts of those who knew her. Gone but never forgotten.
