Janice Loleta Gilreath, 76, Kingsport, TN passed away, Thursday, August 8, 2013 at Wellmont Holston Valley Medical Center.
Mrs. Gilreath was born in Scott County, VA on January 10, 1937 to the late Burlie Andrew and Opal Faye Page Neeley.
She was a member of Lynn Garden Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents, her brother, Carlyle Neeley preceded her in death.
She is survived by her husband, William Thomas Gilreath, Kingsport, TN; brother, W.H. Neeley and wife, Ruthlyne, Blountville, TN; sister-in-law, Betty Neeley, Church Hill, TN; nieces, Lisa Kite and husband, J.D., Franklin, TN, Candice Neeley, Nashville, TN, and Vicki Didier, Church Hill, TN; and nephew, Jeff Neeley, Church Hill, TN.
The family will receive friends from 5-7 p.m., Saturday, August 10, 2013 at the Gate City Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted at 7:00 p.m.in the Gene Falin Memorial Chapel of the funeral home with Evangelist Kenneth Neeley and Rev. Kenny Hammonds officiating. Wayne Bledsoe will provide the piano music, and vocal music will be provided by Miranda Hutchins.
Graveside services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m., Sunday, August 11, 2013 at Holston View Cemetery, Weber City, VA. W. H. Neeley, J.D. Kite, Donnie Gilreath, Roger Page, Thomas Page and Jeff Neeley will serve as pallbearers.
Family and friends are asked to meet at the funeral home at 10:15 a.m. Sunday to go in procession to the graveside service.
