Nancy P. Gillenwater, 79, Ft. Blackmore, VA passed away, Tuesday, August 13, 2019 at her residence.
Nancy was born in Ft. Blackmore, VA on October 6, 1939 to the late Charles Buren and Gladys (Presley) Peters.
Nancy was a 35-year employee of Broadwater Drug, Gate City, VA.
In addition to her parents, her husband and love of her life, Fred Rhea Gillenwater preceded her in death on January 20, 2018.
Surviving is her sister-in-law and caregiver, Peggy D. Peters; special caregivers, Sharon “Sissy” Babb, Ann Salling, Dorothy Winstead, and Ellen Baird; sisters, Barbara Jean Carter and husband, David, Ella Sue Deakins, and Pauline Blevins; along with several nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, August 15, 2109 at the Edwards Cemetery, Ft. Blackmore, VA.
Family and friends are asked to meet at the cemetery by 10:45 a.m., Thursday for the graveside service.
