Robert "Gary" Gibson – Sheridan, Indiana
Robert "Gary" Gibson, 78, originally of Kingsport, TN went home to be with the Lord, October 21, 2022, in Sheridan, IN.
Gary was born in Scott County, VA on March 19, 1944, and was the son of the late Arch and Floary (Smith) Gibson.
He worked as a heavy construction operator and was a farmer throughout Virginia and Tennessee.
Gary enjoyed hunting, fishing, dancing, and his dogs. He loved his family and friends. He is so loved and will be dearly missed.
In addition to his parents, his son, Scott L Gibson preceded him in death.
Surviving is his son, Robert (Sheila) Gibson, Sr., daughter-in-law, Suprina Gibson, grandchildren, Robert Jr., Carl Gary, Mike, Dakota, and Sierra, and great grandchildren, Carlie, Scott, and Mary.
The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m., Saturday, October 29, 2022, at the Gate City Funeral Home. Burial will follow at the Lawson Confederate Cemetery, Snowflake, VA.
Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
