Sallie Fuller, 90, Snowflake, VA passed away, Saturday, January 22, 2011at the Brian Center, Weber City, VA.
Mrs. Fuller was born in Scott County, VA on September 2, 1920, the daughter of the late Lindsey and Hannah Rasnick Taylor.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William Glen Fuller; five sisters and four brothers.
Surviving is her son, William Gladstone (Stoney) Fuller and wife, Barbara of the Big Moccasin community, Nickelsville, VA; grandson, Chris Fuller and wife, Sharon, Kingsport, TN; great granddaughter, Mara Jade Fuller, Kingsport, TN; sisters-in-law, Louetta Taylor, Nickelsville, VA and Ruby Scott, Kingsport, TN and several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m., Monday, January 24, 2011 at the Gate City Funeral Home and anytime at the residence of her son.. Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. in the Gene Falin Memorial Chapel of the funeral home with the Rev. Bob Lane and the Rev. G.W. White officiating. Greg and Becky White will provide the music.
Burial will follow the service at the Rollins Cemetery, Snowflake, VA. Steve Brooks, Frank Taylor, Jeff Lucas, Bobby Joe Lane, Danny Hall, Robert Clark, and Larry Parks will serve as pallbearers. Roy Repass, Thomas Hillman, Paul Smith, Bill Stallard, Don Taylor and Scott Smith will serve as honorary pallbearers.
