Mr. Richard "Dick" Lee Frazier, Sr. 65, Weber City, VA passed away, Tuesday, January 17, 2012 at Wellmont Holston Valley Medical Center.
Mr. Frazier was born in Coeburn, VA on September 8, 1946, the son of the late Henry and Anna Clyde Frazier.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother, Clifton Lynn Frazier.
He is survived by his wife, Shelby Jean Frazier, Weber City, VA; daughters, Penny Oliver and husband Rick, Elizabethton, TN, and Brandy Vaughn and husband Harold, Ft. Mill, SC; sons, Richard Frazier, Jr. and wife Tammy, Kingsport, TN, and Jonathan Frazier and wife Alicia, Kingsport, TN; sister, Judy Doll, Elizabethton, TN; brothers Gary Dean Frazier and wife Sharon, Church Hill, TN, and James Michael Frazier, Surgoinsville, TN, 16 grandchildren, two great granddaughters, several aunts, uncles, and cousins, along with several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m., Thursday, January 19, 2012 at the Gate City Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m., Friday, January 20, 2012 in the Gene Falin Memorial Chapel of the funeral home with Pastor George Winegar officiating. The Lee Smith Singers will provide the music.
Graveside services will be conducted immediately following the funeral at Holston View Cemetery, Weber City, VA. Richard Lee Frazier, Jr., Jonathan Lynn Frazier, Chris Dean Frazier, Chad Frazier, Harold Vaughn, Jr., and Mathew Vaughn will serve as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be R.J. Laney, Mark Laney, and Christopher Frazier Jr.
