Linda Carrol Frazier – Duffield, VA
Linda Carrol (Neeley) Frazier, 55, Duffield, VA went Home to be with Jesus, October 10, 2016 with her family and friends by her side.
Linda dedicated her life to Jesus and her family. She was of the Baptist faith and she attended Grit Hill Community Church.
She was born in Sullivan County, TN on October15, 1960 and was the daughter of the late James Rhea and Rosa Lee (Griffin) Neeley.
Linda was a longtime resident of Scott County, VA. She loved attending church with family. She also loved gardening, canning, cooking, reading, and sewing.
She is survived by her husband and love of her life, Bro. Jackie Dale Frazier, Duffield, VA; daughter, Courtney Frazier Purcell and husband, Drew, Greenville, SC; grandson, Lukas Dale Shelton, Greenville, SC; brother, Wayne Neeley, Duffield, VA; sisters, Connie Frazier and husband, Terry, Duffield, VA and Robin Vanzant and husband, Eddie, Gate City, VA; niece, Heather Townsend and husband, Matt, Duffield, VA; and nephews, Jason Frazier, Duffield, VA and Jacob Vanzant, Gate City, VA.
The family will receive friends from 5:00p.m. – 7:00 p.m., Thursday, October 13, 2016 at the Gate City Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted at7:00 p.m. in the Gene Falin Memorial Chapel of the funeral home with Brother Charles Rhoton and Brother William Bowen officiating. Way of the Cross and Eddie Roberts will provide the music.
The family is having a private burial at the family cemetery in Duffield, VA. Gene Stallard, Roger Estepp, Jeff Smith, Tim Frazier, Scotty Jennings, and Eddie Vanzant will serve as pallbearers.
Our family would like to give a special thank you to Wellmont Hospice Care, and to all of our friends and family for their love and support during this difficult time. We love you all.
