Linda Kay Frasier – Gate City, VA
Linda Kay Frasier, 62, went to be with her Heavenly Father on February 11, 2012 at Johnson City Medical Center, after a brief illness.
Linda was born in Scott County, VA on July 4, 1949, a daughter of the late James Henry, Sr., and Myrtle Ella Blevins Hensley.
In addition to her parents, her sisters, Janice Osborne and Gennelle Hensley preceded her in death.
She is survived by her daughter, Vickie Frasier Elkins and husband, Wayne, Kingsport, TN; son, Mark Frasier and wife, Stephanie, Yuma, VA; grandchildren, Jacob Elkins, Kingsport, TN and Sarah Elizabeth Frasier, Yuma, VA; sisters, Gladys Mann, Kingsport, TN, Selby Childress, Defiance, OH, Lucy Mann, Dungannon, VA, Patty Hensley, Ft. Blackmore, VA, and Carol Williams and husband, Clayton, Ft. Blackmore, VA; brothers, George Hensley and wife, Peggy, Dungannon, VA, Joe Hensley and wife, Judy, Defiance, OH, Billy Hensley, and wife, Charlotte, Lebanon, VA, and James Hensley, Jr., Dungannon, VA; along with several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 5-7 p.m., Monday, February 13, 2012 at the Gate City Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be conducted at 7:00 p.m., in the Gene Falin Memorial Chapel of the funeral home with Pastor John Rogers, Pastor Clayton Williams, and Pastor, Billy Hensley officiating. April McNew and Tim Baldwin will provide the music.
Graveside services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, February 14, 2012 at the Hensley Cemetery, Dungannon, VA. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
Family and friends are asked to meet at the funeral home at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday to go in procession to the graveside service.
