Paul W. France, 81, Rye Cove community, Va. went Home to be with his Lord and Savior, February 1, 2011 at Holston Valley Medical Center. Mr. France was born in Scott County, VA. October 13, 1929 the son of the late Early L. France and Rebecca Stewart. He was a member of Masonic Catlett Lodge #267 in Clinchport VA. for 50 years. He retired from Holliston Mills after 37 years and attended Clinchport Freewill Baptist Church. He was a loving Husband, Father, Grandfather and Great-Grandfather. He was devoted to his family and friends and was a kind and outstanding Christian man. In addition to parents a sister Agnes Pendleton and a brother Ben France preceded Mr. France in death. Surviving is his wife, Betsy France of 61 years Rye Cove, VA. Daughter Susan Qualls, husband Donnie, Duffield, VA. sons Sam France, wife Lissa, Kingsport, Tn. Jack France, wife Connie, Rye Cove, VA. Roger France, wife Teresa, Kingsport, Tn. Larry France, wife Teresa, Rye Cove, VA. Grandchildren: Michael France, Wife Angela; Jeanne France, Joe Qualls, wife Courtney; Amanda Wolfe, husband Barry; Jason France, wife Megan; Joshua France, wife Tabby; Ericka Milford, husband John; Mickey France, wife Tara; Auburn France, Holly France, Elizabeth Potter, Josh Neurdenburg, Holly Corum, husband Bo; Great Grandchildren; Autumn France, Levi France, Ali France, Toni France, Carter Wolfe, Max Wolfe, Emilie France, Andrew France, Jackson Milford, Hallie Milford, Emma Potter, Bo Corum, Ava Corum; Along with several Nieces and Nephews; Beloved pet "Lucy". The family will receive friends from 4-6:45 p.m., Wednesday February, 2, 2011 at the Gate City Funeral Home. Masonic Services will be conducted at 6:45 p.m. in the Gene Falin Memorial Chapel of the funeral home with funeral services to follow with Pastor Bruce Brewer and Brother Roger Herron officiating. Otis Lawson will provide the music. Memorial donations may be sent to St. Jude's Children Research Hospital to: Memorial and Honor Program St. Jude Childrens research hospital 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis TN. 38105-1942. Graveside services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, February 3, 2011 at Holston View Cemetery, Weber City, VA. Family and Friends will serve as pallbearers. Sons will serve as honorary pallbearers. Family and Friends are asked to meet at the Gate City Funeral Home at 10:00 a.m. Thursday to go in procession to the cemetery.
