Alice Marie Flanary – Gate City, VA
Alice Marie Flanary, 82, Gate City, VA passed away, Saturday, January 23, 2021 at Wellmont Holston Valley Medical Center.
Alice was born in Sullivan County, TN on December 28, 1938, and was the daughter of the late Charlie and Mable (Bushong) Gragg.
In addition to her parents, her husband, William Calvin “Bud” Flanary (2007); and brothers, Kenneth, Harold, and Edward Gragg preceded her in death.
She is survived by her daughter, Robin Denise Short and fiancé, Adrian Dishon Humes, Gate City, VA; grandson, William Dustin Rouse, Gate City, VA; sister-in-law, Hazel Boucher and husband, Bruce; niece, Christina Smith and husband, Kenny; and special friend, Helen Wright; along with many other friends.
Graveside services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, January 26, 2021 at Holston View Cemetery, Weber City, VA. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
Friends are asked to meet at the cemetery for the graveside service.
