He was born in Sullivan County, TN on May 19, 1994, and was the beloved grandson of Dovie Guy. He attended Gate City High School where he loved working on cars at the vocational school. He enjoyed attending Young Life of Scott County to worship the Lord and serve others. He was preceded in death by his great grandparents, Troy and Lakie Lucas, his grandfather, Troy Finch and two special aunts. He is survived by his father, Sammy Finch, Mountain City, TN; mother, Sandra Finch, Kingsport, TN; paternal grandmother, Dovie Guy of the home; maternal grandmother, Nancy Hall, Gate City, VA; brother, Cody McMurray, Kingsport, TN; sister, Tamara Berry; uncles, Randy Finch and wife, Beth, Gate City, VA, Paul Tracy Guy and wife, Connie, Hiltons, VA, Michael Hall, Kingsport, TN, along with several aunts, uncles, cousins, a niece, a nephew, friends, and classmates who loved him dearly. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m., Friday, August 20, 2010 at the Gate City Funeral Home and other times at the residence of his uncle Randy Finch. Funeral services will be conducted at 8:00 p.m. in the Gene Falin Memorial Chapel of the funeral home with Rev. Dave Wells. Graveside services will be conducted at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, August 21, 2010 at the Finch Family Cemetery, Dungannon, VA. His classmates will serve as pallbearers. Members of Young Life will serve as honorary pallbearers. Family and friends are asked to meet at the funeral home at 12:00 p.m. to go in procession to the graveside service.
