Faye E. Surber, 83, Weber City, VA, passed away, Thursday, November 9, 2023, at NOVA Health and Rehab.

Faye was born on March 26, 1940, in Scott County, VA, to the late J.W. Hartsock and Edna Hartsock. 

In addition to her parents, her first husband, J.P. Lawson; and stepmother, Oma Hartsock preceded her in death.

Surviving Faye is her sons, Randy Lawson (Jean), IN, and Larry Lawson, IN; grandsons, Jeremy Cook (Wendy), Randy A. Lawson, Kristopher Lawson (Nikki), and Eli Lawson; granddaughter, Breanna Lawson; 9 great-grandchildren; sisters, Judy Noel, Nickelsville, VA, Christine Garrett (James), Nickelsville, VA, Jearlene Horne (Edgar), Kingsport, TN, and Alleen Boyd, Dungannon, VA; special cousin, Kathy Manis (Walter), Nickelsville, VA; and several nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be conducted at 2:00p.m., Sunday, November 12, 2023, at the Hartsock Cemetery, Nickelsville, VA with Rev. Ralph Owens officiating. David and Debbie Easterling will provide the Music.

Per your wishes, you may meet at the funeral home at 1:00p.m., to go in procession to the graveside service, or meet at the cemetery at 1:45p.m.

Family and friends will serve as pallbearers. Walter Manis will serve as an honorary pallbearer.

The family would like to extend a special thanks to NOVA Health and Rehab for their compassionate and professional care of Faye for the past 10 years.
