Teddy Joe (T.J.) Falin, 26, Duffield, VA passed away Thursday, February 18, 2016 at his residence.
T.J. was born in Kingsport, TN on August 31, 1989 and was the son of Mark and Lisa Butler Falin.
His maternal grandparents, Hobert and Alphie Butler; paternal grandparents, Laranza and Lula Bell Falin; aunts, Lena Butler and Sue Ann Falin, uncle, Alferd Butler; and cousin, Candy Ann preceded him in death.
He is survived by his parents, Mark and Lisa Falin, Duffield, VA; daughters, Aleia Brooke Falin, Gate City, VA and Hannah Louise Falin; Gate City, VA; sister, Sabrina Marie Spivey and husband, Timothy, Duffield, VA; brothers, Jonathan Lynn Falin, Duffield, VA and Joshua Daniel Falin, Duffield, VA; nieces, Alexandria Ann Spivey and Kierra Moon Spivey; nephew, Xavier Vanellis Spivey; his fiancee, Amy Miller and her children, Adriana, Trevor, Draven, and Destiny; along with several aunts, uncles, cousins, and many, many friends.
The family will receive friends from 4-6 p.m., Sunday, February 21, 2016 at the Gate City Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted at 6:00 p.m. in the Gene Falin Memorial Chapel of the funeral home with Evangelist Kenneth Neeley officiating. Kenneth Davis and Rejoicing Hearts will provide the music.
The graveside service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m., Monday, February 22, 2016 at the Tate Cemetery. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
Family and friends are asked to meet at the funeral home at 1:15 p.m. to go in procession to the graveside service.
In lieu of flowers the family would appreciate donations to be made to Gate City Funeral Home in T.J.’s name to help with his final expenses.
