Roy Leonard Falin, Sr., 81, Duffield, VA passed away, Saturday, December 21, 2019 at his residence surrounded by his family.
Roy was born in Scott County, VA on July19, 1938, and was the son of the late Leroy and Maxie (Sloan) Falin.
He was retired from GM-Buick in Michigan.
In addition to his parents, his wife, Leoria Joyce (Bishop) Falin (2008); daughter, Debbie Falin; sisters, Nell Elizabeth, Patricia, and Emogene; and brothers, Wallace and Wadell preceded him in death.
Roy is survived by his son, Roy Falin, Jr., MI; daughters, Doris Marie Worth, Duffield, VA and Denise DePotty, Duffield, VA; grandchildren, Timothy, Craig, Trent, David, Jonathan, Breanna, and Ann Falin, Deidre Worth, Candy Phipps, and Harper Falin; great grandchildren, Chloe Phipps, Hayden McCullar, and Braydon and Nevaeh Townsend; his brother, Norman Falin and wife, Gladys, Kingsport, TN; along with several nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, December 26, 2019 at the Powers Cemetery in the Robinette Valley community of Duffield, VA. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
Family and friends are asked to meet at the cemetery at 10:45 a.m. for the graveside service.
