Mr. Falin was born in Scott County, VA on October 6, 1962, the son of Betty Williams Falin and the late Joe Falin.
In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Susan Falin, the mother of his children.
He is survived by his wife, Beverly Peak Falin, Gate City, VA; daughter, Dainele Falin, and fiance', Tommy Britt, SC; sons, Matthew Barnes and Nikki Blair, Kingsport, TN, Joseph Falin , Kingsport, TN, Ricky Peak and Dream Helton, Kingsport, TN, and Dustin Peak and wife, Desiree, Weber City, VA; mother, Betty Falin, Duffield, VA; grandchildren, Breanna Peak, Tyler Creallin, and Deonna Peak; sister, Monnie McDavid, Duffield, VA; brothers, Benny Falin and wife, Janice, Gate City, VA and Charles "Roscoe" Falin and wife, Missy, Gate City, VA; a special niece, Hope Mitchell, Kingsport, TN along with several other nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m., Tuesday, April 6, 2010 at the Gate City Funeral Home and other time at the residence. Funeral services will be conducted at 8:00 p.m. in the Gene Falin Memorial Chapel of the funeral home with Evangelist Kenneth Neeley officiating. Way of the Cross will provide the music.
Graveside services will be conducted at the Williams Family Cemetery in the Sloantown Community of Scott County, VA at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, April 7, 2010. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
Family and friends are asked to meet at the funeral home at 10:00 a.m. to go in procession to the graveside service.
