Christopher "Chris" Shane Falin, 19, Duffield, VA passed away, Monday, December 19, 2011 at Wellmont Holston Valley Medical Center.
Chris was born in Sullivan County, TN on March 2, 1992, the son of Luther Williams and Scherrie Falin.
His grandparents, Elmer Ray and Evelyn Madeline Falin preceded him in death.
Surviving is his mother, Scherrie Falin and fiancé, Wayne Bledsoe, Duffield, VA; father, Luther Williams, Stickleyville, VA; son, Braxton Jace Hall, Yuma, VA; sister, Gloria Jane Falin, Duffield, VA; brother, Steven Ryan Falin, Duffield, VA; special cousin, Buddy Falin, Duffield, VA; and several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 12:00-1:30 p.m., Friday, December 23, 2011 at the Gate City Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted at 1:30 p.m., in the Juanita S. Falin Memorial Chapel of the funeral home with Evangelist Kenneth Neeley officiating.
Burial will follow the service at the Falin Family Cemetery, Falin Hollow, Sloan town community of Scott County, VA. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
