William Arley Ervin, 80, Gate City, VA passed away, Monday, June 16, 2014 at Wexford House.
Arley was born in Scott County, VA on November 20, 1933 to the late Warner. and Emily Gilliam Ervin. He retired from Tennessee Eastman.
In addition to his parents, his sister, Sue Miller preceded him in death.
He is survived by his wife, Okie Templeton Ervin, Gate City, VA; daughter, Debbie Boy, Kingsport, TN; sons, Huey Ervin and wife, Tammy (Falin), Nickelsville, VA and Greg Ervin and wife, Gayle (Vicars), Gate City, VA; grandchildren, Stacy Ervin and wife, Ginny, Shannon Boy, Bryan Boy and wife, Regina, Tarrah Boy, Luke Ervin, Laurie Ervin, Zachery Ervin and Chad Ervin, great grandchild, Lexi Ervin; sister, Jean Davis, Kingsport, TN; brothers, Kenny Ervin and wife, Sandra, Wytheville, VA and Bernie Ervin, Weber City, VA; along with several nieces and nephews.
Services will be conducted at 7:00 p.m., Thursday, June 19, 2014 in the Gene Falin Memorial Chapel of Gate City Funeral Home with Rev. Aaron Noe officiating. Tarrah Boy will provide the music.
Graveside services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m., Friday, June 20, 2014 at Oak Hill Memorial Park in Kingsport. Grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
Family and friends are asked to meet at the cemetery for the graveside service.
