Ernest Utah Quillen – Kingsport, TN

Ernest Utah Quillen, 67, Kingsport, TN, passed away, Monday, August 19, 2024, at the Wellmont Holston Valley Medical Center.

Ernest was born August 20, 1956, to the late Utah Ernest Quillen and Fern Casteel Shelton.

In addition to his parents, his brother, Randall Quillen preceded him in death.

He is survived by his son, Justin (Zikun) Quillen; sisters, Eileen (Ernie) Cullop and Charlene (Bob) McGough; along with several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 1:00p.m.-3:00 p.m., Saturday, August 31, 2024, at the Gate City Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted at 3pm in the Gene Falin Memorial Chapel of the funeral home.

Burial will follow the service at the Holston View Cemetery, Weber City, VA.

Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
