Pauline Gilmer Elliott, 88, Nickelsville, VA passed away, Thursday, April 5, 2018 at NOVA Health and Rehab.
Pauline was born in Scott County, VA on July 22, 1929, and was the daughter of the late Thomas Ollie and Hattie Elizabeth Francisco Gilmer.
In addition to her parents, her husband, Jimmy Elliott (2007); sisters, Dona Kate Williams and Carrie Lou Price; and brothers, George, J.R., Howard, Charlie, and infant brother, Frankie preceded her in death.
She is survived by her daughters, Joyce Elliott Oakes, Richmond, VA and Jane Elliott Green and husband, Chris, Fork Union, VA; son, Mike Elliott and wife, Karla, Fredericksburg, VA; five grandsons; six great grandsons; and one great granddaughter; along with numerous nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, April 7, 2018 at the Nickelsville Cemetery, Nickelsville, VA with Rev. G.W. White officiating. Pauline’s grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
Family and friends are asked to meet at the cemetery for the graveside service.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Nickelsville Rescue Squad or First Baptist Church of Nickelsville.
