Church Hill, TN — Frankie Ball Taylor Eads, 71, formerly of the Midway Community, Gate City, VA entered into rest May 26, 2009 at Wellmont Holston Valley Medical Center.
She was born in Scott County, VA May 17, 1938 to the late Guy Ball and Myrtle McConnell Ball.
Frankie found joy in being a wife, mother, and grandmother who always had a smile on her face and was at peace while working in her flowers.
Including her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Freddie "Bud" Taylor, 1993; two sisters, Hazel McConnell and Carol Summey; brothers, Willard "Sonny" Gilbert Ball, Delmar O. "Bud" Ball and Doyle "Jingo" Ball.
Survivors include her husband, Bobby L. Eads, Church Hill, TN; daughter, Deborah Taylor, Johnson City, TN; two sons, Greg Taylor and wife, Jan, Gate City VA, David Taylor and wife, Mary, Church Hill, TN; step daughter, Sandy Frazier and husband, Steve, Kingsport, TN; step son, Ricky Eads and wife, Tammy, Kingsport, TN; two sisters, Helen "Gebbie" Nuckles, Indianapolis, IN, Shirley McClellan, Kingsport, TN; brother, Allen "Poss" Ball, Church Hill, TN; grandchildren, Chasity Taylor, Jamie Taylor, Austin Taylor, Morgan Taylor; step grandchildren, Emalie Eads, Ethan Joyner, Stevana Frazier and Cody Eads; great granddaughter, Audrianna Graham; special nephew, Troy McConnell and special niece, Sue Moore, along with several other nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 5-8 p.m. Friday, May 29, 2009 at Gate City Funeral Home. Services will be at 8 p.m. in the Gene Falin Memorial Chapel of the funeral home with Rev. Kenneth Pierce officiating. Music will be provided by Pine Grove Trio.
Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, May 30, 2009 at the Craft Cemetery, Alley Valley Community of Scott County. The family will meet at 10:15 a.m. at the funeral home to go in procession to the cemetery.
Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
