Patrick Pridemore Dockery, 86, Dungannon, VA passed away Wednesday, November 7, 2012 at the Wexford House, Kingsport, TN.
Mr. Dockery was born in Scott County, VA on August 26, 1926 to the late Wrightly W. and Bessie Kate Blevins Dockery. He was a veteran of the United State Army and was of the Baptist faith.
In addition to his parents, his daughter Carolyn W. Dockery, sisters, Edna Lane and Bonnie Cox; and brothers, Lucian Dockery, Jerry Dockery, and Jackie Dockery preceded him in death.
He is survived by his sons, Roger Dockery and wife, Karen, Dungannon, VA, Larry Dockery and wife, Sylvia, Church Hill, TN, Sammy Dockery and wife, Patricia, Kingsport, TN, and Bobby Dockery, Dungannon, VA; 7 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren, and 1 great great grandchild; sister, Laura Stephens, Saltville, VA; 5 half sisters; brother, Jimmy Dockery and fiancee, Sharon Flanary, Kingsport, TN; 2 half brothers; along with several nieces and nephews.
Mr. Dockery's wish was to be cremated. There will be a private family burial of the Cremains at a later date.
The family wishes to thank the staff of Wexford House for the love and care of their father.
