Chelsea LeAnne Dockery, 33, Kingsport, TN passed away, Wednesday, January 27, 2022, at Wellmont Holston Valley Medical Center.
Chelsea was born in Russellville, AL on October 31, 1988, and was the daughter of the Brenda Dockery.
Princess Chelsea was everyone’s Angel, especially her mom’s. She was also a big Alabama fan! Go Bama!! Roll Tide!! Roll!!
She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Jerry and Ann Dockery, and her uncle, Michael Dockery.
In addition to her mother, Brenda Dockery, she is survived by her sister, Jacklyn Vanderpool, nephew, Hudson McKnight, niece, Annabelle McKnight, aunts, Melissa Dockery and Jack Thorpe, and Jackie Dockery, uncle, Timmy Dockery and wife, Charlotte, cousins, Allen Dockery and Chelsea, Jared Garrett, Robert Thorpe, Tommy Thompson, Brittany Thorpe, Cody Thorpe, and Ariel McKee, along with lots of other family and friends. The Princess never met a stranger.
The family will receive friends Saturday, February 5, 2022, from 4-7 p.m. at Gate City Funeral Home. A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be conducted at 7:00 p.m. in the Gene Falin Memorial Chapel of the funeral home with Rev. Larry Beavers officiating.
The family would like to thank the staff of Wellmont Holston Valley for their love and support for Chelsea. Words can never be enough for how you treated us and especially, our Angel.
