Brenda Gay Dishner, 80, of Gate City, Virginia passed away on Wednesday, December 25, 2019 at her residence.
Brenda owned and operated a clothing business in Gate City for many years. She was also a legal assistant to her husband Jerry Dishner.
She was born on August 25, 1939 in Calvin, Virginia to the late John Bobrosky, Jr. and Lazell (Gilbert) Bobrosky. She is also preceded in death by her husband, Jerry Earl Dishner and her sister Gloria Lynn Worley.
Brenda is survived by her brothers, Vince Bobrosky, Ladysmith, VA and his fiancée, Margaret (Maggie) Lloyd, Calverton, MD, Colin Bobrosky and wife Zelma, Keokee, VA; aunt, Betty Hill and husband Ben, Church Hill, TN; uncles, Daniel McArthur Bobrosky and wife Cora, Fairview, VA, Bill Bobrosky and wife Brenda, Batesville, AK, Steve Bobrosky and wife Mary, Big Stone Gap, VA; nieces, Brooke J. Bobrosky, and Natosha Leigh Bobrosky, both of Richmond, VA, and Michelle Bane, Tampa, FL; nephews, John R. Bobrosky, Keokee, VA and Ron Kindle and wife Debbie, Gate City, VA; great niece, Brianna May Bobrosky; great nephew, John A Bobrosky; and her best friend Shirley McDavid, Gate City, VA, along with other numerous family and friends.
It was Brenda’s wish to be cremated.
A memorial service will be conducted with the date and time to be announced later.
