Willie Dingus, 86, Gate City, VA passed away, Monday, November 3, 2014 at the Wellmont Holston Valley Medical Center, Kingsport, TN.
Willie was born in Scott County, VA on September 28, 1928 to the late James Mitchell and Ellen Victoria Babb Dingus.
In addition to his parents, his loving wife, Irene Darnell Dingus; granddaughter, Tiffany Beth Gibson; grandson, Hunter Charles Edward Estepp; along with several brothers, sisters and a nephew preceded him in death.
Surviving is his son, Marshall Dingus, Gate City, VA; daughters, Marie Dingus Hammonds and Ben, Gate City, VA, Cherylene Gibson and Jeff, Ft. Blackmore, VA, Patricia Dingus Dockery and Tommy, Gate City, VA, Brenda Dingus Estepp and James, Gate City, VA; grandchildren, Jeffery Gibson and Tabitha, Melinda and Jimmy Carter, Melissa Gibson, Matthew and Brittany Estepp, Brandy Hammonds, Kourtney Dockery, Mitchell Dingus, Hollie Estepp, Lindsey Gibson and several great grandchildren; along with several nieces and nephews.
According to his wish, Graveside services will be conducted at 1:00 p.m., Friday, November 7, 2014 at the Hill Cemetery, Scott County, VA with Pastor George Gibson officiating. Family and Friends will serve as pallbearers.
Family and friends are asked to meet at the cemetery for the graveside service.
