Mrs. Charlotte Adelaide Dick, 82, Utica, NY and formerly of Gate City, VA passed away, Tuesday, July 20, 2011 in New Hartford, NY.
Mrs. Dick was born in Windber, PA, the daughter of the late David Charles Renninger and Eulalia Adelaide Renninger.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Donald Dick on March 3, 2004; an infant son; and brothers, Charles, David, Clarence, and Melvin Renninger.
Surviving are her daughters, Donna Paulette Benton and husband, Timothy, Richlands, VA, Jeannine Deforest and husband, Matthew, Mohawk, NY, and Sharon Jo Weiss and husband, Sidney, Newport News, VA; sons, Darwin Lee Dick, Dalhart, TX and Donald Perry and wife, Shelley, Smithfield, VA; 6 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren; her devoted niece, Kathy Kinsley, Sneedville, TN; along with several other nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 5-7 p.m., Sunday, July 24, 2011 at the Gate City Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted at 7:00 p.m. in the Gene Falin Memorial Chapel of the funeral home with Elder Jimmy Combs officiating.
Graveside services will be conducted at 1:00 p.m., Monday, July 25, 2011 at the V.A. Mountain Home National Cemetery, Mountain Home, TN.
Family and friends are asked to meet at the cemetery for the graveside service at 12:45 p.m.
