Michael Robert Dennison, 55, Weber City, VA passed away, Sunday, November 11, 2012 at Wellmont Holston Valley Medical Center after an extended illness.
Michael was born in Sullivan County, TN on March 27, 1957 to the late Issac William and Mary Oaks Dennison.
In addition to his parents, his brother, Dwight William Dennison preceded him in death.
He is survived by his sister, Wanda Salyer and husband, William, Weber City, VA; special uncle, Wayne Oaks, Kingsport, TN; special aunts, Betty Ward, Oklahoma City, OK, Thelma Wolfe, Hiltons, VA, and Barbara Larkey, Hiltons, VA; special nephew, Scotty Salyer, Sr., Church Hill, TN; special cousin, Delores Williams, Kingsport, TN; other cousins, Scotty Salyer, Jr., Shea Salyer, Cheyenne Salyer, Journey Lynn Brown, Zackary Salyer, and Lynn Hensley; along with many other cousins.
The family will receive friends from 12-1 p.m., Wednesday, November 14, 2012 at the Gate City Funeral Home and other times at the residence of his sister, Wanda Salyer.
Graveside services will be conducted at 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, November 14, 2021 at Holston View Cemetery, Weber City, VA with Rev. Jimmy Darnell officiating. Lori Darnell will provide the music. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
