Deborah Kay Blevins – Weber City, VA

Deborah Kay Blevins, 68, Weber City, VA passed away, Saturday, February 8, 2025, at NOVA Health and Rehab.

Deborah was born in Sullivan County, TN on August 20, 1956, and was the daughter of the late Carl and Clyde Marie (Owens) Gillenwater.

She retired from Eastman Chemical.

In addition to her parents, her brother, Gary Gillenwater preceded her in death.

 Deborah is survived by her son, Kevin (Rebecca) Elliott, granddaughter, Morgan Elliott, sisters, Janice (Bob) Osborne and Kim Hutchins, brothers, Greg Gillenwater and Donnie “Rose Bud” (Hannah) Gillenwater, along with several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 2-4 p.m., Wednesday, February 12, 2025, at Gate City Funeral Home.

Burial will follow at Mount Pleasant Cemetery, in the Midway community of Scott County, VA with Rev. Coy Butler officiating.

Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.

The family wishes to convey a very special thank you to all the nurses, CNAs, and staff of NOVA Health and Rehab for all the care and love they gave to Deborah and family.
