Frances Joan Kinkead Davis, 55, Hiltons, VA passed away, Wednesday, October 12, 2016 at Wellmont Holston Valley Medical Center.
She was born in Scott County, VA on February 7, 1961 and was the daughter of the late Bruce Kinkead and Bertha Lucinda Hall.
Frances worked as a clerk at Kilgore’s Market.
In addition to her parents, several brothers and sisters preceded her in death.
She is survived by her husband, Danny Ray Davis, Hiltons, VA; daughter, Amanda Hope Davis, Kingsport, TN; son, Joshua Ray Davis, Hiltons, VA; along with several brothers, sisters, nieces, and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 5:00p.m. – 7:00 p.m., Saturday, October 15, 2016 at the Gate City Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted at7:00 p.m. in the Gene Falin Memorial Chapel of the funeral home with Rev. Gary Hunley and Evangelist Kenneth Neeley officiating.
Graveside services will be conducted at 10:00 a.m., Sunday, October 16, 2016 at Lawson Confederate Cemetery in the Snowflake community of Scott County, VA. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers. Paul Baldwin will serve as an honorary pallbearer.
Family and friends are asked to meet at the cemetery at 9:45 a.m., Sunday for the graveside service.
