Debra Leah McDavid Davis, 55, Kingsport, TN passed away, Sunday, January 18, 2015 at Wellmont Holston Valley Medical Center.
Leah was born in Sullivan County, TN on September 18, 1959 To J.C. McDavid and the late Norma Lynn Ison McDavid.
In addition to her parents, her maternal grandparents, Charles and Janie Casteel Ison and paternal grandparents, Ezra “Shag” and Bonnie Lynch McDavid preceded her in death.
Leah is survived by her husband, Rusty Davis, Kingsport, TN; step sons, Chaz Davis, Kingsport, TN and Derek Davis, Kingsport, TN: father; J.C. McDavid and wife, Ginger, Surgoinsville, TN; sister, Tracy Tarango and husband, Luis, Lakeland, FL; brother, Jeff McDavid, Kingsport, TN; mother-in-law, Wilma Pauline Davis Williams and husband, Bill, Kingsport, TN; sister-in-law, Paula Trent and husband, Larry, Church Hill, TN; aunts, Delores Moore, Mendota, VA, Carolyn Ison, Kingsport, TN; uncle, Kelly Ison and wife, Joan, Henrico, VA; nephews, Jamie McDavid and wife, Charity, Ft. Blackmore, VA, Matthew Hinson, Mirmar, FL, nieces, Nicole Valdes, Mirmar, FL, Michelle Bishop and husband, David, Colonial Heights, TN, Misty Trent and Jeremy Lemons, Church Hill, TN, Clisty Trent, Kingsport, TN, and Becky Trent, Church Hill, TN; step grandchildren, Savanah Davis and Jacob Davis, Kingsport, TN; along with several cousins and great nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 5-7 p.m., Friday, January 23, 2015 at Gate City Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted at 7:00 p.m. in the Gene Falin Memorial Chapel of the funeral home with Rev. Wade Frazier officiating. Clisty Fullan Trent will provide the music.
Graveside services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, January 24, 2015 at Oak Hill Memorial Park, Kingsport, TN. Larry Trent, Jeff McDavid, Jamie McDavid and Bill Williams will serve as pallbearers.
Family and friends are asked to meet at the cemetery for the graveside service.
