Mary Ruth Davidson, 75, Kingsport, TN passed away, Wednesday, December 27, 2017 at Brookhaven Manor, Kingsport, TN.
Born in Scott County, VA on March 30, 1941, she was the daughter of the late Cornelius C. and Ora Bell Baldwin Davidson.
In addition to her parents, her sisters, Callie McLemore, Effie Davidson, and Nell Dingus; and brothers, Earl Davidson, Charlie Davidson, Roy Davidson, Robert Davidson, and Clay Davidson preceded her in death.
She is survived by her sister, Nannie Kate Nelms, Kingsport, TN; along with several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 12:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m., Saturday, December 30, 2017 at the Gate City Funeral Home and other times at the residence of her sister, Nannie Kate Nelms. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. in the Gene Falin Memorial Chapel of the funeral home with Evangelist Kenneth Neeley officiating.
Burial will be in the Kimbler Cemetery in the Alley Valley community of Ft. Blackmore, VA. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
