David W. Crawford – 83 Years Old

David was born in Kingsport, TN, on September 15, 1939, and went home to be with the Lord on March 31, 2023. He was of the Baptist Faith.

David was preceded in death by his loving parents John and Lillie (Oaks) Crawford; grandparents, Nathan and Callie Crawford, Peart, and Lizzie Arnold; brother-in-law, Willie Kilgore; and several aunts and uncles.

He is survived by his sister Nancy Kilgore; brother, Johnny Crawford (Mary); and several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 5-7p.m., Thursday, April 6, 2023, at the Gate City Funeral Home. Services will be conducted at 7:00p.m., in the Gene Falin Memorial Chapel of the funeral home with Rev. Layton Bentley and Pastor Larry Spivey officiating. His nieces Isabella and Abigail McMurray will provide the music.

Graveside services will be held at 2:00p.m., Friday, April 7, 2023, at the Holston View Cemetery, Weber City, VA. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers. Wayne Oaks and Randy Dougherty will serve as honorary pallbearers.
