Ina Renfro Daugherty – Weber City, VA
Ina Renfro Daugherty, 97, Weber City, VA passed away, Friday, December 29, 2017 at Steadman Hill Assisted Living, Kingsport, TN.
Ina was born in Scott County, VA on April 29, 1920, the daughter of the late James Burton and Flora Alvee (Addington) Renfro.
In addition to her parents, her husband, Darwin A. Daugherty and sister, Iva R. Richmond preceded her in death.
She is survived by her sons, James O. Daugherty, Wayne Daugherty and wife, Peggy; nieces, Valda R. Lady and Cathy D. Turner.
The family will receive friends from 1-3 p.m., Monday, January 1, 2018 at the Gate City Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted at 3:00 p.m. in the Gene Falin Memorial Chapel of the funeral home with Rev. Paul Blessing and Dr. Lester Morelock officiating.
Graveside services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, January 2, 2018 at the Holston View Cemetery, Weber City, VA. Pallbearers will be Mark Wilson, Wayne McDavid, Larry Bledsoe, Joe Carter, Anthony Catron, and Wayne Miller. Former employees of Daugherty Brothers Chevrolet will serve as honorary pallbearers.
Family and friends are asked to meet at the cemetery at 10:45 a.m., Tuesday for the graveside service.
