Georgia Fraysier Darnell, 87, Church Hill, TN and formerly of Clinchport, VA passed away, Wednesday, August 6, 2014 at Church Hill Health Care.
Georgia was born in Scott County, VA on September 16, 1926 to the late Rufus M. and Ella Carter Fraysier. She was retired from Tennessee Eastman Company.
In addition to her parents, her infant sister, Mary Victoria Fraysier and Grace Isabell Fraysier, and brother, Robert Fraysier preceded her in death.
She is survived by her beloved sister-in-law, Sharon Fraysier, Kingsport, TN; nephews, Michael S. Fraysier and wife Deborah of Harker Heights, TX and Todd Allan Fraysier and wife Delores of Bailey, NC ; Nieces Karen Cassell and husband Mike Cassell, Lisa and husband Kenny Beverly of Kingsport, TN. Grand Niece Denna Cornbloom and husband Eddy of Belton, TX. Grand Nephew Jeremy Cassell of Kingsport, TN and wife. Grand nieces, Leslie Mullins and husband of Kingsport, TN. Grand Niece Brandie Dodd and husband of Wake Forest , NC. Dearly loved Great niece and nephew Brye Whitney and Zion Chase Fraysier of Harker Heights,TX and 5 great grand nephews and nieces and her special friends and staff at Church Hill Health Care, Church Hill, TN
The family will receive friends from 11: 00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m., Saturday, August 9, 2014 at the Gate City Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted at 12:00 p.m. in the Gene Falin Memorial Chapel of the funeral home. Dorothy Hicks will provide the music.
Burial will follow the services at the John C. Carter Cemetery, Ft. Blackmore, VA. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
