Dakota Chase Addington, 21, Gate City, VA, passed away, Friday, March 24, 2023, at Holston Valley Medical Center.

Chase was born in Johnson City, TN, on September 3, 2001, to the Forrest and Donna Marie (Mann) Addington.

He is preceded in death by his grandfathers, Randel Addington and Howard Mann; great-grandparents, Laura and Allan Mann, Omer and Gertrude Addington, Harry and Ruth Castle, and Blanche and Worley Head; and a special aunt, Margaret Castle.

Chase is survived by his parents, Forrest and Donna Addington; younger brother, Aiden Addington; grandparents, Betty Addington, and Harold and Jennifer Clark; uncle, Chad Addington; aunt, Lisa Clark; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

It was Chase’s wishes to be cremated; a celebration of life will be announced at a later date.
