Cordelia (Sue) Rhoton – Gate City, VA

Cordelia (Sue) Rhoton. 85, Gate City, VA, passed away Tuesday, May 9, 2023, at NOVA Health & Rehab.

Cordelia was born on June 6, 1937, in Keokee, VA, and was the daughter of the late Elmer Ray and Tennie (Barnett) Fisher.

She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother who will be deeply missed.

In addition to her parents, her sister, Virginia Deaton preceded her in death.

Left to cherish her memory is her husband of 67 years, Roosevelt (Monk) Rhoton, Gate City, VA; daughter, Susan Leben and husband, Bradley , Gate City, VA; son, Tony Rhoton and wife, Betty, Gate City, VA; sister, Geneva Elkins, Pennington Gap, VA; grandchildren, Cody Rhoton and fiancée, Angelina Daniel, Emily Rhoton and Dalton Witten; step granddaughters, Michelle Martin and husband, Craig, and Samantha Wilson and Darrell Miller, 7 great grandchildren,  nephew, Myron Elkins and nieces, Sue Ann Tabor, and Debbie Gillespie, and great nephew, Scott Saucer.

Graveside services will be conducted at 2:00p.m., Saturday, May 13, 2023, at the Holston View Cemetery, Weber City, VA, with Elder Bradley Leben officiating. Family and friends are asked to meet at the cemetery.
