Fred E Cookenour, 86, Wasilla, Alaska and formerly of Weber City, VA and Lexington, KY passed away at Harbor View Manor in Wasilla, Alaska on October 2nd, 2014.
Fred was born in Wise County, VA on February 19, 1928 to the late George and Ethel Carter Cookenour.
He was a veteran of the United States Army and will be buried in the Fort Richardson National Cemetery, Anchorage, Alaska.
In addition to his parents, his wife, Jackie Parks Cookenour preceded him in death.
He is survived by his son Fred Allan Cookenour.
