Nancy Sue Collins – Gate City, VA
Nancy Sue Collins, 71, Gate City, VA passed away, Monday, December 1, 2014 at Wellmont Holston Valley Medical Center.
Mrs. Collins was born in Kentucky on August 29, 1943, a daughter of the late Edward Andy and Charlie Mae Gillenwater Osborne.
In addition to her parents, her son, Patrick T. Collins and her brother, Tommy Fred Osborne preceded her in death.
She is survived by her daughters, Patricia Robinson and husband, Stephen, Lebanon, VA and Vickie Helton Alderson and husband, Tim, Lebanon, VA; son, Robert “Freddie” Collins and wife Gail, Gainesville, GA; daughter-in-law, Monica Collins, Abingdon, VA; sister, Barbara Kay Kennedy and husband, Frank, Ooltewah, TN; brothers, Sidney A. Osborne and wife, Kathy, Gate City, VA, Paul Osborne and wife, Marietta, Gate City, VA, Billy Wayne Osborne and wife, Agnes, Church Hill, TN, and Mickey Joe Osborne and wife, Terry, Gate City, VA; grandchildren, Laura Helton, Mandi Helton, Dillon Robinson, Drew Collins, and Gavin Collins; step granddaughter, Cassie Jordan; along with several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 2-4 p.m., Wednesday, December 3, 2014 at the First Baptist Church of Gate City with services following at 4:00 p.m. in the sanctuary of the church with Rev. Steve Collins officiating.
There will also be a Fellowship Gathering at Willis Chapel Church, Lebanon, VA on Thursday, December 4, 2014 from 6-8 p.m.
It was the wish of Mrs. Collins to be cremated.
