Anthony Duane Collins, 54, Bluff City, TN passed away, Tuesday, January 30, 2018 after a short battle with cancer.
Duane was born in Sullivan County, TN on January 3, 1964 and was the son of the Frances Sutherland Collins and Paul Glenn Collins.
In addition to his mother, his brother, Glenn Collins preceded him in death.
He is survived by his son, Dustin Collins and wife Lacodya, Greeneville, TN; granddaughter, Annalise Cariglenn Collins; father, Paul G. Collins and wife, Ruth, Bluff City, TN; mother of his son, Donna Collins, Bluff City, TN; step-sister, Tammy Fields Boyd and husband, Richard, N. Augusta, SC; step-brother, Jeff Fields, Gate City, VA; former mother-in-law, Faye Arnette, Bristol, VA; former sister-in-law and son, Michelle Crawford and Tyler, Bristol, VA; step-nieces, Ashley Boyd, Jacksonville, FL and Brett Kailyn Boyd, N. Augusta, SC; along with several aunts and uncles.
The family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m., Friday, February 2, 2018 at Gate City Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. in the Gene Falin Memorial Chapel of the funeral home with Rev. Larry Beavers officiating. Ronnie and Karen Mann will provide the music.
Burial will follow at Holston View Cemetery, Weber City, VA. Josh Collins, Ronnie Mann, Danny Mann, Ricky Mann, and Kyle Horne will serve as pallbearers. Tyler Crawford, Dustin Collins, Paul G. Collins, Lacodya Collins, Jeff Fields, and Jeff Charles will serve as honorary pallbearers.
