He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Elizabeth Ann Taylor, three great grandmothers, Georgia Lee Davis, Hazel M. Harris, Lottie M. Franklin; step great grandfather, Billy J. Kerns and an uncle, Jerry Madison McCloud, Jr.
Survivors include his father, Robert "Dink" Eugene Clark, Jr., mother, Clara Clark and fianc?, James "Buddy" Kerns; sister, Kimberly Ann Clark; brother, Stephenson Eugene Clark; mamaws and papaws are, Betty J. and Henry L Kerns, Angela J. Markin, Jerry M. McCloud, Robert Eugene Clark, Sr., Corella S. Clark; great grams and gram paws, Frances McCloud and Jerry McCloud, Diana Kerns, Jane Musser and John Musser; great paw, William Dale Harris; aunt, Amy Renee Byrd and David W. Byrd; step aunt, Casey D. Markin; best friends and cousins, Megan Faith Byrd, Trinity Musser, Efren Necessary.
The family will receive friends from 5-8 p.m. at Monday, December 15, 2008 at Gate City Funeral Home and other times at the residence.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday, December 16, 2008 at Gate City Funeral Home with Rev. Jerry McCloud and Rev. Larry Bledsoe officiating. Music will be provided by Lisa Presley, Rhonda Holtzclaw, Shirley and Doyle Castle.
Burial will follow the service at the Strong Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Robert Holtzclaw and Jerry M. McCloud.
