Michael Ayers Charles, 65, Weber City, VA passed away, Wednesday, January 28, 2015 at his residence.
Mr. Charles was born in Ohio on April 2, 1949 to Ralph Willard Charles and the late Marcella Anderson Charles.
In addition to his parents, his sister, Della Griswold preceded him in death.
He is survived by his son, Corey Charles and wife, Tonya, Weber City, VA; grandson, Tyler Charles, Weber City, VA; his father, Ralph Willard Charles, OH; ex wife, Sandra Vermaat, Gate City, VA; along with several nieces, great nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m., Monday, February 2, 2015 at the Gate City Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted at 12:00 p.m. in the Gene Falin Memorial Chapel of the funeral home with Brother Jeff Casteel officiating.
Burial will follow the service at Holston View Cemetery, Weber City, VA. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
