Carson Elbert (Buck) Gillenwater, age 85 of Knoxville, TN, passed away on Thursday, April 18, 2024.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Milton and Mima Gillenwater; brothers, Paul Gillenwater, Fred Gillenwater, and Russell Gillenwater; sisters, Nina Catron, Myrtle Lawson, and Olene Starnes.
He is survived by his brother, Dale (Ann) Gillenwater of Kingsport, TN; sisters, Dorothy (William) Kimbler of Ft. Blackmore, VA, Alice Carter of Ft. Blackmore, VA; and sister-in-law, Hazel Gillenwater of Corryton, TN; and many nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, April 22, 2024, at 1:00PM at Stallard Cemetery in Ft. Blackmore, VA, Rev. Gordon Dykes Officiating. Online condolences may be left at www.mynattfh.com, or www.gatecityfunerals.com.
