He was born in Sullivan County, TN., on June 28, 1980 to Connie Dockery Truesdale and Ricky Carrico.
Some of Dustin's favorite hobbies were fishing, video games and tinkering with computers.
He is preceded in death by his paternal grand- parents, Bill and Willie Sue Carrico and also by his maternal grand- parents, Brownie and Mattie Dockery, and two uncles Roger and Ronnie Carrico.
Surviving is his mother, Connie Truesdale of Gate City, VA, his father, Ricky Carrico of Gate City, VA and best friends, Harold and Jason, along with several cousins.
The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Sunday, June 15, 2008 at Gate City Funeral Home.
Services will be conducted at 8:00 p.m. in the Gene Falin Memorial chapel of the funeral home with Rev. Willie Neeley officiating. Music will be provided by David and Debbie Easterling.
Grave side services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Monday, June 16, 2008 at Mount Pleasant Cemetery, Midway Community. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
The family will be meeting at the funeral home at 10:00 a.m. to go in procession to the graveside service.
