Kyle Banner Campbell, 80, Fall Branch, TN passed away, Tuesday, September 3, 2013 at Wellmont Holston Valley Medical Center.
Mr. Campbell was born in Virginia on December 26, 1932 to the late Charlie and Ella Murphy Campbell.
Kyle was a veteran of the U.S. Navy.
In addition to his parents, his sisters, Alice Phillips, Rhea Moore, Gladys Gillespie, Ruth Plesant, Mary Puckett, Evelyn Hughes, Annie Bishop and Carrie VanNorstrand; brothers, William, Claude and Vernon Bruce Campbell.
Kyle is survived by his wife, Inez Campbell, Fall Branch, TN; son, Brian Campbell and wife, Eva, Kingsport, TN, 3 Step-Grandchildren, 8 Step-Great Grandchildren; along with several nieces, nephews and many friends.
The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 p.m., Thursday, September 5, 2013 at the Gate City Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted at 8:00 p.m. in the Gene Falin Memorial Chapel of the funeral home.
Graveside services will be conducted 11:00 a.m., Friday, September 6, 2013 at the Oak Hill Memorial Park, Kingsport, TN. Lowell Campbell, Rick Bishop, Giles Gillespie, Robin Hughes, Lowell Lawson and Doug Campbell will serve as pallbearers.
Friends and family are asked to meet at the funeral home by 10:15 a.m to go in procession to the graveside service.
