Teresa Ann Calhoun, 56, Gate City, VA passed away, Tuesday, April 9, 2013 at Wellmont Holston Valley Medical Center, Kingsport, TN.
Mrs. Calhoun was born in Sullivan County, TN on March, 16, 1957 to the late Charlie Glenn Bartlett, Sr. and Nettie Marie Estepp Bartlett.
She was loved by all who knew her.
In addition to her parents, her step-mother, Linda Bartlett; daughter, Amy Michelle Calhoun; sister, Lois McConnell and her nephew Kevin McConnell preceded her in death.
Teresa is survived by her husband, Ricky Calhoun, Daniel Boone, VA; brothers, Charles Bartlett and wife Wanda, Gate City, VA, Larry Bartlett and wife, Sherrie, Gate City, VA; brother-in-law, Joe McConnell, Gate City, VA; special friends, Rita Ford, Mt. Carmel, TN and Kathy Lane, Duffield, VA along with several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m., Thursday, April 11, 2013 at the Gate City Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted at 8:00 p.m. in the Gene Falin Memorial Chapel of the funeral home with Pastor Danny Grizzle officiating. The Gate City United Pentecostal Church Singers will provide the music.
Graveside services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m., Friday, April 12, 2013 at the Calhoun Family Cemetery, Daniel Boone Community, VA. Family and Friends will serve as pallbearers.
Family and friends are asked to meet at the funeral home at 10:00 a.m., Friday to go in procession to the graveside service.
