Dungannon, VA Anna Lucille Lane Cagle -78- entered into rest April 2, 2010 at her residence. Born in Scott County, VA on June 24, 1931 to the late John Thomas Lane and Mary Emmaline Sluss Lane. Including her parents she is preceded in death by a sister, Pauline Corder and brothers, Nathan, George, Claude, Cline, Elmer, Fred Lane and Garland Sluss. Mrs. Cagle was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith. Survivors include her daughters; Linda Perry, Kathy Nickels, Rita Miller all of Dungannon, VA. Deborah Beckham,Weber City, VA. Patricia Rea, Gate City, VA and Sharon Miller, Big Sandy, TN. Sons; James Darnell, Sugar tree, TN., Bobby Darnell, Camden, TN and Gary Cagle, Sugar tree, TN. Twenty seven grandchildren, several great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Monday, April 5, 2010 at the Gate City Funeral Home and anytime at the residence Douglas and Linda Perry. Services will be conducted at 8:00 p.m. in the Gene Falin Memorial chapel of the funeral home with Rev. Jerry Smith officiating. Tim Baldwin, April McNew and Mike Mullins will provide the music. Charles Perry, Kevin Perry, Alan Perry, Michael Perry, Randy Davis, Jeff Miller and Rodney Beckham will serve as pallbearers. Graveside services will be 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, April 6, 2010 in the Lane / Sluss Cemetery, Dungannon, VA.
