Charles was born in Scott Counyt, VA on April, 18, 1941, to the late Charlie Burke and Nellie Frances Farmer Burke.
Mr. Burke is survived by his mother, Frances Farmer, Nickelsville, VA; daughters, Kathy Wilson, Johnson City, TN, Christine Burke and Steve, Bristol, VA; sons, Tony Burke and wife, Cherie, Bluff City, TN, Billy Burke, Bristol, TN, Banam Burke and wife, Linda, Knoxville, TN; brothers, Richard Burke and wife, Sue, FL; grandchildren, Ashley, Rickie, Christopher, Scotty, Stephanie, Brian, Alesha, Tracy and 11 great-grandchildren; along with several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friend’s from10:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m., Thursday, March 31, 2016 in the Gene Falin Memorial Chapel of the Gate City Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted at 12:00 p.m., with Pastor Todd Asbury officiating.
Burial will follow the funeral service at the Hartsock Cemetery, Nickelsville VA. Family and Friends will serve as pallbearers.
