Pauline Fritz Bumbalough, 77, Duffield, VA passed away, Friday, April 10, 2015 at her residence.
Mrs. Bumbalough was born in Scott County, VA on January 24, 1938; daughter of the late Will and Gracie Lane Fritz.
In addition to her parents, her husband, Edward Bumbalough; her first husband and father of her children, William “Hubert” Lambert; son, Jason Leon; sisters, Pansie, Hazel, and Mabel Sturgill; and brothers, William, Robert, Nelson, and Leonard Fritz preceded her in death.
She is survived by her daughters, Linda Sue Bumbalough, Dayton, OH, Lisa Russell, Duffield, VA, and Teresa Tignor, Duffield, VA; son, James Lambert and wife, Karen, Dayton, OH; eight grandchildren, nine great grandchildren and one expected great grandson; great great grandson, Michael Madden, Jr.; sisters, Georgia Smith, Dayton, OH, Louise Bledsoe and husband, E.C., Blackwater, VA, Mary Ford, Monterey, TN, and Betty Lane and husband, Darrell, Duffield, VA; brothers, Fred Fritz, Duffield, VA and Billy Fritz and wife, Debbie, Kingsport, TN; along with several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 5-7 p.m., Wednesday, April 15, 2015 at the Gate City Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted at 7:00 p.m. in the Gene Falin Memorial Chapel of the funeral home with Evangelist Garry Hood officiating. The Hood Family will provide the music.
Graveside services will be conducted at 1:00 p.m., Thursday, April 16, 2015 at the Adams Cemetery, Duffield, VA. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
Family and friends are asked to meet at the funeral home at 12:00 p.m., Thursday to go in procession to the graveside service.
