Robert Henry Buchler, 78, Duffield, VA passed away Wednesday, July 17, 2013 at the Indian Path Medical Center, Kingsport, TN.
Mr. Buchler was born in Michigan on January 12, 1935 to the late Alfred and Olga Schlak Buchler.
He is survived by his wife, Maudie Buchler, Duffield, VA; daughters, Lynn Ann DeWolf and husband, Edgar, MI, Debra Srnek, MI, Sally Buchler, AZ, Eugenie Hinson, OH;son, Robert Buchler, Jr., MI; brothers, Donald Buchler, MI, Kenneth Buchler and wife Carleen, MI, Ervin Buchler and wife, Karen, IN; 10 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; along with several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 5-7 p.m., Friday, July19, 2013 at the Gate City Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted at 7:00 p.m. in the Gene Falin Memorial Chapel of the funeral home with Rev. Joe Hall officiating.
Graveside services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, July 20, 2013 at the Roach Family Cemetery. Family and Friends will serve as pallbearers.
Family and friends are asked to meet at the cemetery for the graveside service.
