Louise Broadwater, 92, Nickelsville, VA went to be with Jesus Monday evening, September 15, 2014 with her family by her side.
Louise was born in Lee County, VA on June 18, 1922 to the late Hagan and Fern Hughes.
In addition to her parents, her first husband, Charles L. Wilson; second husband, Kenneth Broadwater; daughter, Kathy Fern Wilson; brother, Allen Hughes preceded her in death.
Louise is survived by her daughters, Carolyn Templeton, Mount Carmel, TN, Cindy Williams and husband, Johnnie, Kingsport, TN; sons, Robert H. Wilson and wife, Diana, Nickelsville, VA, Carson W. Wilson and wife, Sandy, Kingsport, TN, Charles Creig Wilson and wife, Sue, Kingsport, TN; sister, Ruth Smith; grandchildren, Brian Wilson, Carol Lynn Templeton, Jackie Wilson, Melissa Templeton, David Jones, Brandon Wilson, Dustin Wilson; 12 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandson.
The family will receive friends from 5-7 p.m., Thursday, September 18, 2014 at the Gate City Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted at 7:00p.m. in the Gene Falin Memorial Chapel of the funeral home with Rev. G.W. White officiating.
Graveside services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m., Friday, September 19, 2014 at the Oak Hill Memorial Park, Kingsport, TN. David Jones, Dustin Wilson, Brandon Wilson and Beau Walker will serve as honorary pallbearers.
All friends and family are asked to meet at the cemetery for the graveside service.
