Emma Mae Brickey, 83, Ft. Blackmore, VA passed away, Monday, September 10, 2012, at Wellmont Holston Valley Medical Center in Kingsport, TN.

Mrs. Brickey was born in Scott County, VA on January 13, 1929 to the late Jessee Clay and Laura Lovely Fields Dockery.

In addition to her parents, her husband, James H. Brickey; sister, Agnes Honeycutt; brothers, Billy G. Dockery and , Jimmy C. "Speedy" Dockery preceded her in death.

She is survived by her sons, Ronnie Brickey and friend, Glenda, Dungannon, VA, Sam and Margaret Brickey, Mount Carmel, TN, and Mike Brickey, Bastian, VA; sisters, Roberta Scott Peters, Dungannon, VA and, Jean Darnell, Yuma, VA; grandchildren, Shane and Melissa Brickey, Kingsport, TN, Robbie and Bethany Brickey, Kingsport, TN; granddaughters, Megan McMurray and Madison Lawson; great grandchildren, Summer Brickey, Sierra Brickey, Cody Brickey and Emma Grace Brickey; along with several nieces and nephews; special roommates, Mary Shuffler and Jincie "Blu" Honeycutt and a host of friends.

The family will receive friends from 4-7 p.m., Wednesday, September 12, 2012 at the Gate City Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted at 7:00 p.m. in the Gene Falin Memorial Chapel of the funeral home with Rev. Keith McNew and, Rev. Joe Roberts officiating. Pine Grove Harmony will be providing the music.

Graveside services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, September 13, 2012 at Holston View Cemetery, Weber City, VA. Shane Brickey, Robbie Brickey, Greg Dockery, C.E. Darnell, David Darnell and, Roger Darnell will serve as pallbearers. Danny Honeycutt, Stevie Dockery, Larry Dockery, Phillip Lane, Rhea Brickey and, Charlie Darnell will serve honorary pallbearers.

Family and friends are asked to meet at Gate City Funeral Home at 10:15 a.m. to go in procession to the graveside service.
